Yes I must say I'm feeling less peevish than usual this afternoon after watching this today's qualifying laps for the Australian GP. As I hoped, Lewis's reunion with his pussycat doll seems to have done the trick because he put in a times fast enough to get him onto pole. With Button second fastest, it's a McLaren lockout on the front row. I'm really looking forward to tomorrow now. Except that now I can only see an 'extended' highlights version thanks to the Beeb's neglect of us old crocks who aren't blessed with Sky.
However this is the first season that I can watch on my new widescreen tellybox and it looks great! Mistri is quite enamoured also as she spent the whole time sitting on the digibox with her nose pressed up against the left hand edge of the screen where the lap times are displayed. I have a horrible feeling she may be rooting for Red Bull.
