The latest trouble to befall Koo Stark

I was sorry to see the headline about Koo Stark today. Apparently she has been charged with the theft of a £20,000 painting from the flat of a certain Warren Walker in Notting Hill. She is set to appear in court on Friday.

Warren Walker, to whom she was engaged to be married, dumped her when she was seven months pregnant with his daughter. He is also heir to Forbes, the American publishing and shipping empire.

Koo once dated Prince Andrew. She was invited to Balmoral amidst rumours of an engagement. But it all ended when it was revealed that she had appeared semi naked in a film called Emily in 1976. Prince Andrew went on to marry the awful Fergie and Koo pursued her career as a photographer. To her credit she has never once spoken, either favourably or unfavourably, about her relationship with Andrew.

The affair makes a strange comparison with the Duchess of Cambridge appearing topless and bottomless in several continental magazines and with Prince Harry's naked frivolities in Las Vegas. Koo's short appearance in a single film scene seems mild by comparison.

The Mail Online has pulled its usual stunt and declined to accept comments "for legal reasons" Well I've always liked Koo Stark and I think she is innocent of all charges. The painting should be considered as part payment of child maintenance and Koo should walk out of court without a stain on her character.

That's my comment, so there.
