I don't really understand McLaren's decision regarding Hamilton's fuel level
Okay I get that rules are rules and that a car must have sufficient fuel to get back to the pits and provide a one litre sample for testing. But in a pre race interview this afternoon, team principal Martin Whitmarsh stated that the pit crew were unsure of the accuracy of the figures being provided by the car's data system. He said that there might well have been several litres of fuel still slopping around in the tank.

A stupid decision that might well have cost Lewis Hamilton his first GP win this season
