Hopefully human rights and constitutional laws will prevent Cameron from legalising gay marriage

If there was just to be a single issue that defines why I detest David Cameron and his increasingly currupt government this would be it.
This is what he says about marriage;

It’s something I feel passionately about and I think if it’s good enough for straight people like me, it’s good enough for everybody and that’s why we should have gay marriage and we will.

The arrogance and condescension of the man appalls and frightens me.
What he wants to do is to trample over the sincerely held beliefs of a great many ministers and leaders of the Church Of England and redefine the ancient institution of marriage for his own squalid political motives.
And I cannot help wondering what would happen if a gay couple should find it impossible to engage a minister to marry them in church. Would legalising homosexual marriage then imply a legal duty on the church?
That thought horrifies me
