One good thing may emerge from the banking scandal

The BBC may be forced to get rid of the egregious Robert Peston.
It's not the first time that he has broken one of his stories at a time which might be beneficial to the interests of the conservative party and The BBC may very well feel that his activities are prejudicial to their much celebrated reputation for impartiality.
I don't really care in the slightest about his political affiliations but I find his peculiar speech patterns extremely irritating. He seems totally unable to maintain an even tempo of words throughout a single sentence and I now have to hit the mute button the very moment I hear his name mentioned during a news broadcast. And that is why I have absolutely no understanding of whatever it is that Barclay's Bank has been up to.
