A really strange article about the so-called church of Scientology

It rather oddly appeared in the Mail Online just after my post on the 'church' and the Cruise-Holmes divorce in which I said that the 'church' had no mysterious secrets which might be revealed in newspaper articles.
Of course I'm not saying that there is any real connection but there can be no doubt that something odd is going on.
Some woman has suddenly appeared claiming to have been invited to a Scientology event and that a computer glitch gave her access to various induction levels.
To accompany all these 'revelations' are a couple of so-called photographs of the interior of Scientology HQ in Florida, supposedly leaked onto the internet.

These pics are quite obviously computer generated. And that fact throws a shadow of suspicion on the whole article.

But what intrigues me is the question of who might be responsible for this spurious article and its alleged revelations.
Is the Mail Online generating sensational items just to garner readers? Or are they in some kind of conspiracy with the Scientology cult? I suppose it's not impossible that a newspaper might be involved with a cult. Look at the influence that Freemasonry has in the press and other areas.
Perhaps the more interesting possibility is that Scientologists themselves have put out this non-story in thehope of drumming up interest for their cult and therefore money. But then they do it so stupidly that it fools no one at all. But then what can you expect from an organisation that gives itself a name that might have been invented by a Big Brother contestant.
