The line-up and very early betting for Strictly Come Dancing

Almost the full line-up of celebrities has been revealed now in advance of the official Strictly Come Dancing launch show. Of course this excludes their professional partners so the betting can really only be very speculative at this stage. But here's my look at the betting field as it stands.
Denise van Outen:
A very Essex girl who's had quite a lot of experience in musicals. But she is 38 yrs old and therefore hardly deserving of her early favouritism
Best price 4/1 Corals.

Kimberley Walsh:
Girls Aloud singer aged 30.
See previous comments
Best price 6/1 Ladbrokes.

Louis Smith:
2 medals in the Olympics for gymnastics. Bound to be impressive in the energetic dances and popular with the female audience.
Best price 6/1 Coral and Paddy Power.

Nicky Byrne:
Popular with the older ladies I suppose. MEH! See previous comments
Best price 8/1 William Hill.

Dani Harmer:
Allegedly an actress. 23 yrs old. See previous comments
Best price 12/1 Paddy power and Ladbrokes.

Victoria Pendleton:
Olympic medal winner in cycling
I'm quite looking forward to her but she is 31and not really a glamourpuss. Bound to be popular with the current Olympic enthusiasm whether good or not.
Best price 14/1 Ladbrokes

Michael Vaughan:
Cricketers seem to do relatively well but he doesn't look to have much of a *latin* appeal.
Best price 16/1 Bodog (?) but 14/1 Ladbrokes

Richard Arnold:
MEH! See previous comments
Best price 16/1 Ladbrokes

The Rags

Lisa Riley:
No, I've no idea either!
Best price 25/1 Paddy Power

Fern Britton:
Can't abide the woman.
Best price 33/1 ladbrokes

Jerry Hall:
A real old fashioned glamour queen and will be interesting on that basis alone but I don't think she will be all that popular with the British audience.
Best price 33/1 Coral

Johnny Ball:
Vaguely remember him from something or other
Best price 33/1 Coral

Sid Owen:
An ex Eastenders actor. MEH!
Best price 33/1 ladbrokes

There is still one more to be revealed so I am not making any bets until I know who that might be. Most likely to be another male I would think. If I had to have a bet now I would say a small each way on Victoria Pendleton and another small wager on Denise van Outen to win because her acting ability is bound to put her in good stead.
