I gave a little cheer when I saw that the appalling Sally Bercow had lost her High Court case....

... and that her total bill, including legal costs, will be in excess of £100,000. It quite cheered me up until I recalled that her equally appalling husband had just voted himself a massive pay rise, no doubt in anticipation of the result in court. So, once again, it is the taxpayer who forks out for this pair of parasites to continue to live in the style to which they have become accustomed.

I had hoped that the payout to Lord McAlpine plus legal costs would bankrupt the pair of them and so Bercow would be forced to resign from the office of Speaker and the obnoxious pair would vanish into well deserved obscurity. Just another disappointment to add to the many that blight my miserable life!
