Occasionally - very rarely - circumstances may arise in which a court has to say that whatever apparent merits a prosecution may have, the court cannot allow the prosecution case to be taken forward to trial.
Personally I find it kind of amusing that this Mahmood character has got away with this kind of legally dubious behaviour for so long. After all he operates the kind of "sting" operation which even the police are loathe to use nowadays. So although I am unhappy that Tulisa has managed to wriggle out of a prison sentence (which would have kept her talentless and repellent personality out of public view for a time), I am quite pleased that yet another damper has been put on those morally bankrupt sewage rats in Wapping.
