Why is the press fostering the sad delusions of transgender Frank Maloney

This is the pathetic, deluded, former boxing promoter Frank Maloney who featured on the last series of Celebrity Big Brother. Apparently he has got the date for his/her final *operation*
Now let us get this straight - I do not care how many operations Maloney goes through in his attempts to become whatever he wishes. Nor do I care what he thinks he can become. After all, everyone is entitled to their own delusional system - right?
But what I do care about is the way the popular press tries to foist his delusions on the rest of us. Witness this excerpt from an item about Maloney in the Mail online:
The mother-of-three was with her eldest daughter Emma, 32, when she found out on Wednesday that doctors had the date set aside for her genital and breast surgery
Maloney can never be a mother-of-three no matter how many operations she/he has. Quite simply he was and always will be a father-of-three until there is some kind of remarkable medical advance that enables men to have children (god forbid). And even then it was the male version of Maloney that fathered the children and that is a fact which is unalterable regardless of politically correct semantics
