Headlines that have made me sigh in despair today

The family of Jack Froese who died last June, have started receiving emails 'from beyond the grave'. While some of the emails concern conversations that friends and relatives had with the dead man shortly before his death, others refer to events which took place afterwards.
The family of the Pennsylvania man (yes it would be in America) say no one had his account password and they don't believe it was hacked. Oh really! And I suppose that internet browsers don't store passwords and that none of his family ever had access to his computer or mobile phone either.
While some people might regard this as a sick joke, what really makes me sigh is the reaction of the duped members of the family who believe that they are still in some kind of contact with the deceased. Oh dear!

There is little I can say about this except that these two pieces of scum walked free with a conditional discharge and orders to pay token amounts in compensation and costs. It seems that, though both admitted involvement, they each claimed that the other was responsible for pointing the laser at the helicopter pilot.
The appalling truth is that no one convicted of shining laser beams at helicopter pilots has ever been jailed for longer than a few months. Why isn't this crime considered to be attempted murder?

If I ever needeed to explain why I never watch The Apprentice, this little gem would suffice. Apparently Tom Pellereau has exhausted himself working 18 hour days bringing his invention to market. I'm just stymied. I've looked at his S-shaped file and cannot for the life of me see how it makes filing your nails any easier. Not that I actually file my nails, I hasten to say. And Alan Sugar has been paying this dimwit £100,000 per year. They deserve each other!
