Despite being cleared by the stewards it has become clear that Red Bull have been guilty of something

Somewhere between being reported to the stewards by the FIA for a possible technical infringement of the engine settings (mapping) rules and having the settings checked by the stewards, there was a dramatic fall off of performance in both cars.
The suspicion is, though of course it is only speculation at this time, that, having been reported, Red Bull then resorted to earlier settings which they knew complied to the rules about throttle and torque settings. This resulted in their poor showing at the German grand Prix last weekend.
Needless to say my hope is that Lewis Hamilton will be able to take advantage of this and gain some vital points at the Hungarian GP on Sunday. Not that I'll see much of it thanks to the crappy BBC highlights coverage.
