All I wanted was a roll of cling film but in my local store it's been moved, along with the kitchen foil and suchlike, to god knows where. I know perfectly well why they do this. It's in the hope that while you spend ages searching high and low for what you want, you may accidentally stumble across something you don't want today but might conceiveably need sometime in the dim and distant.
I utterly detest Asda's American marketing techniques. I especially dislike being adjured to 'have a good day' by the cashiers. It's not any type of politeness that I know of. It's just intrusive and annoying.
And while I'm here, can I just say that I'm also sick of Asda's fuel pumps ripping me off for an extra penny or two everytime I shut the nozzle off. Do they think I don't know when I'm being scammed? I realise that it's probably because of an electrical pulse from the cut-off switch but they ought to be serviced occasionally.
Anyhow I'm done with Asda for good now.
