What do food poisoning and Jimmy Savile have in common?

Looking at this picture suggests that there might be quite a lot. But that wasn't exactly what I meant.

You see for the last few days I have been suffering from a really horrible bout of food poisoning. Although I knew I had it from Wednesday because of a feeling of general unease and disquiet internally, It wasn't until Thursday that I actually KNEW I had it because the evidence was, by then, clear and unquestionable.

What I'm getting at is the difference between knowing and actually knowing a fact. Not unlike many people, I suspect, I knew there was something wrong with Jimmy Savile. Well, you only have to look at him........all that charity work.......too good to be true etc etc.

But there is a world of difference between that and KNOWING something that might be provable in a court of law. Of course anybody who did have that kind of knowledge and did nothing about it is just as guilty as the actual perpetrator.

And knowing is what it may come down to if any of it reaches a court, which it looks likely as some of the alleged victims seem set on suing the BBC.

Don't you think there's something strange about Savile's family? I mean the hasty removal of his headstone from the graveyard. They made no attempt to defend him at all. It makes me wonder if they KNEW something.
