On Cameron's alleged intention to hold a referendum on EU membership, she said:
'You can be very happy on an island – but alone they would not be happy in this world.'
Conveniently forgetting that 70 years ago we did just that in opposing her own forebears.
Notwithstanding the crass stupidity of her remark, it might be more valid if some effort were made within the EU to halt the almost criminal mismanagement of its funds.
