Philip Schofield's paedophile television stunt is grounds for dismissal

The This Morning television presenter compiled a list of Tory politicians names associated with Jimmy Savile paedophile accusations after a brief investigation on the internet. He then handed it to David Cameron during a live interview "inadvertently" displaying it to the camera as he did so.

It was a clear breach of broadcasting rules and a blatant piece of self publicity which must result in his dismissal.

Even if there were any factual evidence against any of the politicians named, a television studio is not a courtroom nor is the twittersphere a jury.

And, at best, This Morning is only a platform for superficial chatter and gossip.

I would say to Schofield that when he points the finger at anyone, there are always three more pointing back at him.
