Celebrity Big Brother and the new meaning of celebrity #cbb

Celebrity Big Brother 2013
It has been apparent for a number of years that when the press refers to a celebrity it means someone you have probably never heard of but who would like to be a celebrity. The Mail Online gave me a bit of a snigger in this regard today when it said that:
some viewers under 40 may not recognise some of the faces
Yeah well let me say that some viewers OVER 40 may not recognise them either.

I was only watching out of curiosity because I couldn't understand why Frankie Dettori is taking part. Champion jockeys have bounced back from public scandals before, think of Lester Piggott and Kieron Fallon.
Anyway I obviously know who Frankie Dettori is
Rylan Clark: Well I knew the name of course, and I don't really care if I never see him again. But it's significant that he's not relying on his X Factor win to bring him success.
Claire Richards: Never heard of her.
Razor Ruddock: Heard of him but I thought he was a boxer for some reason.
Paula Hamilton: Yep I remember her.
Lacey Banghard: Nope means nothing.
Ryan Maloney: Doesn't ring a single bell here.
Sam Robertson: Nope.
Tricia Penrose: Supposed to have been in Coronation Street but I don't recall her.
Spencer Pratt: Nope.
Heidi Montag: Thought at first she was the Holywood madam, but no.
Gillian Taylforth: I remember that she was caught in a compromising oral position in a Range Rover somewhere or other.

So that's 75% I either have no idea about or incorrectly recalled which seems to prove what I said about the real meaning of celebrity nowadays.
Anyway I see that Rylan Clark is at very short odds to win already which chimes with the substantially gay viewer proportion and makes him a very poor value bet. He's too short even to justify 'dutching' him with anybody else. No bet.
