Okay so I'm getting a bit paranoid but let's face it who isn't at the moment.
This is something I've just spotted on Flightradar. The plane is Tail No N903FD. It is apparently registered to and owned by Fed Ex the parcels carrier. But why is a parcels carrier flying in this strange pattern? I know this kind of pattern is sometimes flown by RAF aircraft but this is an American registered plane. It might also be some kind of electronic surveillance but again why American?
The flight apparently originated at Luton airport and then flew via Eastleigh and Exeter airports. This could seem to be a parcels flight but what on eart is it doing now?
I'll probably never know unless some kind soul comments on this item and informs me.
Update at 16.30. It currently looks as though it is in a landing pattern for Luton from where the fligh commenced earlier today.
Further update at 16.40 Well it overflew the runway and climbed away from Luton and is now heading West at about 5,000 ft and 250kts.
