Sometimes I wonder in what sort of world or time Daily Mail journos think we're living

TaylorSwift & HarryStyles
More often than not the Daily Mail and Mail Online bring me fairly close to apoplexy with their poor level of grammar and constant repetition of words such as 'amazing' and 'hilarious' There is absolutely no sign of proof reading or indeed any basic form of fact checking.

The ONLY reason I use the Mail Online is because it seems to load quicker than other online newspapers and isn't delayed by an infinite variety of flash plug-ins.

Sometimes however their stupidity gives me a quiet chuckle. Such as this line from an item about two, presumably pop personages, known as Taylor Swift and Harry Styles. Apparently Harry took Taylor to his 'hood' and:

After a few days of visiting pretty Cheshire villages and making locals swoon with their wholesome togetherness it seems Harry, 18, now wanted to show his new lady what a real British lad does on a Friday night after a few pints.

'SWOON' ????? Does the Mail Online think we're living in the time of King Arthur and courtly love or what? When was the last time anybody swooned?

It's far more likely that the locals wanted to give them a smack for being such a pair of smug gits.
